Food Service Program

A note from Ms. Linnington, Food Service Director

Lunch is $3.50 per day. West Cape May Elementary provides FREE breakfast to all students. Please take a moment to complete and return the Free and Reduced Priced Meals application. Applicants who qualify for Free or Reduced Priced Meals will receive meals at no cost. Applications are available using the link above and paper copies are available in the main office. Eligibility in the program has been expanded through the New Jersey Expanded Income Eligibility Program. (NJEIE). Just complete the application and return it school, we will do the rest! Call the office if you need any assistance with the form.

Our school cafeteria uses a computerized system to keep track of student meal purchases and deposits. Each student has an account. Funds can be placed on the account and meal purchases will be deducted when your child is provided a lunch from the cafeteria. Payment can be sent in with your child and will be collected in the classroom. Cash or checks can be sent. (We do not process online or credit card payments). Checks should be made payable to CMCBOE.

The dedicated team in the Cafeteria, aka the Cool School Café,  is ready to provide meals for your children!  Please be assured all food handling safety precautions are followed.

Breakfast is available every school day. Breakfast is served in the classroom and available to all students upon arrival. Ordering in advance is not required and breakfast meals are free to all students! Students may also keep nonperishable foods for snack time at school or after school!
